“Deftly traversing the boundaries between dance, theatre, and puppetry”, Right Hand Woman follows Puppet Characters Tony Tamponi, Nurse Speculum and Aida IUD as they take a wild ride up the vaginal canal on a journey of everyday struggle and empowerment in the menstruating body.
Puppet Characters Tony Tamponi, Nurse Speculum, Aida IUD and more suck the audience into a little world exploding with surreality. A minuscule piano being played feverishly inside the living womb, a menstrual cup so monstrous, you might just drown in it — to a tiny puppet woman calling desperately into the void.
Through Right Hand Woman, the audience experiences something that’s hilarious, unsettling, and deeply human, all at once
