Hailing from Calgary, Canada, Jocelyn "Jo" Mah is a dance artist of mixed race, who first studied classical piano performance. Jocelyn is a graduate of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre (Toronto, CAN), and holds her Master of Arts in Contemporary Dance from The London Contemporary Dance School (London, UK). Jocelyn has worked as a professional dancer and instructor in Toronto, London and Calgary, representing dance companies including EDge Dance Company (London,UK) and many independent artists. Jocelyn was awarded the inaugural Winchester Prize for Choreography, and her lively work has been presented at numerous festivals throughout Canada and Internationally.
